The practice phone rang all morning. Appointments and repeat prescription requests were written down by hand and some of them got lost.
We deployed a public form for appointments and for prescription requests, both without registration and verified by e-mail. The nurse has a single screen with a queue of requests and their statuses.
The system is in its sixth year under an SLA. It also covers access rights and retention periods for personal data.
