How we handle your personal data

What data we process

There is only one way we obtain personal data from you — when you send us the contact form yourself. Here is what we store:

• your name, if you gave one
• e-mail and phone — at least one is required so we know where to reply
• your website address, if the enquiry concerns a compromised site
• the text of your message
• technical details of the submission — IP address and browser, to protect the form against bots

Why we process it

• So that we can reply and agree on working together — these are steps taken before entering into a contract.
• So that we can protect the form against bots and abuse — here the reason is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for six months from the last communication. If an enquiry turns into a project, the retention period follows the contract and statutory periods, in particular accounting ones.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time — unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it, we will comply.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing purposes. We do use technical suppliers who have the access necessary to run the service:

• Microsoft — delivery of the notification and confirmation e-mails
• MongoDB Atlas — the database the enquiry is stored in
• Cloudflare — running and protecting the website itself

Processing at these suppliers is further governed by their data processing agreements (DPA) in their current wording.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies.

Your rights

In relation to your data you have the right to:

• know what data we hold about you and receive a copy of it
• have it corrected if it is wrong
• have it erased
• restrict or object to its processing
• receive it in a machine-readable format so you can pass it on to someone else

For anything regarding your data write to support@moderi.cz. We usually reply within one business day.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech data protection authority (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).
